Cookie notice
Last updated: 4 June 2026
A cookie is a small file a website can store on your device. This notice explains what Provenly's marketing site stores, and when. The short version: nothing that tracks you is set unless you choose to allow analytics.
By default, nothing tracks you
When you arrive, the site places no analytics or advertising cookies. You'll see a banner asking whether to allow Google Analytics. Until you accept, analytics stays switched off — using Google's Consent Mode — and nothing tracks you.
If you accept analytics
If you accept, Google Analytics sets a small number of first-party cookies to measure how the site is used, in aggregate:
- _ga — tells visitors apart so visits can be counted. Expires after about two years.
- _ga_<container-id> — keeps Google Analytics session state. Expires after about two years.
That's it for analytics. We don't use advertising cookies, we don't build profiles for advertising, and we don't sell your data.
Remembering your choice
So we don't ask on every page, your accept-or-reject choice is saved on your own device — in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie. Remembering your choice is necessary for consent to work, so it's kept whichever way you answer, and it isn't used to track you.
Changing your mind
You can change your mind whenever you like. Use the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer of any page — or the button below — to reopen the banner and switch analytics on or off in one click. If you switch analytics off after previously accepting, the related cookies (for example _ga) are removed. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time.
Search Console
The site is registered with Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google search results using aggregated data. It doesn't place cookies or track individual visitors through this site.
