Privacy notice

Last updated: 4 June 2026

This notice explains what personal information Provenly collects through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. It's written to be read, not to bury you in legalese.

Who we are

Provenly is a UK health & safety document platform, operated as a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. "Provenly" is the name we trade under. For the information collected through this website, the data controller is the individual operating Provenly, and the point of contact for any privacy questions or requests is hello@provenly.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

Right now, this website does one thing with your data: it lets you join our early-access list. When you fill in the early-access form, we collect:

We use this only to contact you about early access to Provenly — to confirm your sign-up, to let you know when access opens for businesses like yours, and to send you an invitation when it does. We don't use it for anything else, and we won't send you unrelated marketing.

Our lawful basis

We process this information on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form and confirming your email address. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see Your rights below), and every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.

How we store it and who can see it

Your details are stored in Brevo, an email and contact-management platform we use to manage the early-access list. Brevo acts as our data processor and stores data within the European Union (France and Germany). We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your details on the early-access list until Provenly launches and we've contacted you about access, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted, we'll remove your details promptly.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email hello@provenly.co.uk and we'll sort it out. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell your data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — but only if you choose to allow it. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics: it stays off unless you accept, and nothing tracks you in the meantime. If you accept, Google Analytics sets a few first-party cookies (for example _ga) to measure visits in aggregate. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — use the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer of any page (or on our cookie notice) to reopen the banner and switch analytics on or off. If you switch it off, the analytics cookies are removed. Full details are in our cookie notice.

The site is also registered with Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google search results using aggregated data — it doesn't place cookies or track individual visitors through this site.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data — for example, when the full Provenly platform launches — we'll update this notice and change the "last updated" date above.
